Corporate HSE is a small, international team that supports Hydro mission and its ambitious targets with advice in the area of health, safety, security, environment and beyond. It consists of 6 specialists with various backgrounds and qualifications that both helps and challenges the line organization on all kinds of HSE issues, gives input to Hydro’s strategic directions and decisions, but is also involved in building up training concepts, performing audits, due diligence, incident investigations and more.

Area of Responsibility
The summer intern will support the Corporate HSE team in creating internal HSE publications based on existing but in various formats and files available material. This could entail HSE starter packages for new employees, line managers and HSE managers, updating the HSE handbook, creating booklet(s) around Life Saving Behaviour and Mobility in HSE.
The summer intern will gain deep insight in Hydro’s HSE organization and approach but will also have the opportunity to interact with people in most of Hydro’s business areas through site visits in order to learn and understand the internal customer’s needs.
- Minimum three years of completed studies in health, safety, security or environment related discipline and a certain graphical talent - OR in a media related discipline with interest to quickly learn basics within HSE
- Good academic results
- Good communication and cooperation skills
- Engagement through student activities is an advantage
