Logistics is a part of the Commercial business unit and is working as a strategic and operational service provider for key functions within Primary Metal, such as the Product Areas, Strategic Sourcing, and Global Fully Owned Smelters. The Logistics department represents one of the biggest shipping and transportation units in Norway, both in terms of volumes and spend, and logistics services will continue to form an important part of Hydro’s competitive position within the aluminium industry going forward.
The team counts 19 resources located in Oslo, Sunndalsøra and Karmøy, and is divided into three main activities: Shipping and Inbound Logistics, Outbound Logistics and Logistics Projects.
