Part 1 of one of the world’s first full-scale VR concert is now launched.
By simply strapping on a pair of VR goggles, you can “be on stage” with a-ha and enjoy the band’s timeless hits in front of thousands of screaming fans.
“New technology offers fantastic possibilities in the arts- and entertainment sector, and we are happy to take a small part in this pioneering spirit by venturing into untested territory,” says Magne Furuholmen from a-ha.
If you have an iPhone, you need an app to view the songs in VR.
Download the app and read the user guide:

To see the concert in virtual reality you need VR goggles, which can easily be purchased online. VR goggles come in several shapes ranging from professional goggles to simpler versions in cardboard.
Access the video via Hydro’s YouTube-channel with your smartphone, click on “settings” in the video and select the highest quality.
You can also see the concert without VR goggles, in ordinary 2D.
The full concert will be released on May 19, with its own app to ensure a premium quality experience.
